Looking back in time through my limited human understanding, I can observe cycles - economic, technological, social and spiritual cycles. I believe they provide clues on what might come next, and there’s no end to how this impacts how you go about running your business, deciding where to live, and planning for retirement.
Business cycles 7-10 years, Kondratiev long wave cycles 45-60 years, debt/credit super cycles 30-70 years, tech revolution cycles of 60 years, Debt jubilee cycles 49-50 years, The Wyckoff Man, the halving cycle, menstrual cycles, lunar cycles and on and on it goes.
Of course, there are ‘those people’ we must consider who see patterns in everything but struggle wearing matching clothes. Heck you’re probably thinking I’m one of those people, too. My best guess is that 20% of the population are ‘those people’...
